From Classroom to Mass Culture

Today I was surprised as I noticed in one of the restaurants in chrompet has hung the board all over the dining area "Culinary carnival" I was shocked because in literature I had learnt about Culinary Studies in the field of Food studies, Cultural studies , Gastronomy, Anthropology of food so on. Then I was happy to notice that then I explained to my friends what was it . 

In addition, When I was walking from my college through Heber Gate towards Ananthapuram ,There I had noticed the shop name was "Diagon alley" it was the fictional place in ''Harry Potter'' book. These incidents made me to think deeply then I started to search the meaning of those how it became the sign of name board in a high reputed shop, Even though these kinds of name can be noticed in  only big shop.

After that I have learnt , Culinary carnival stands for variety of foods festival it refers Buffet system where we have abundance of food varieties then I try to link it with literature which refers Culinary (art of food ) I think Carnival may be taken from Bhaktin 'Carnivalesque 'Which echoes 'forget of order ' which leads to Joy and freedom , Likewise,In the buffet system,We can have variety of foods, Freedom to taste every thing,There isno  normal system of Server service here we can get every thing by self service ,it leads to forget routine.

This depicts that literature is not only confined within class room and book itself,it has reached to the Mass Culture through Movies , Social Media These kind of terms might be familiar and attracted among the people that sowed the seeds towards the naming board.

I personally feel these kind of research is quite interesting😀
