Does bird suffer?

Today , I have learnt about the beautiful and thought provoking poem "Thrushes" which was written by Ted Huges, Before learning the poem, I thought that it was an ordinary poem about little bird actually my opinion had been destroyed when I learnt about the poem , Really it was an interesting poem .

He presented a bird as raw ,Instinctual force of nature, He didn't use any aesthetic words rather than he presented it's another sids of life which we fail.  to observe. It gives comparison between mankind and Bird Which evokes bird's  intelligence, determination in desire and the procrastination, perplexity nature  of human kind. The style of author , his metaphors , Rhetoric, inversion of syntax were amazing. Once classes completed, I had questions Whether the bird  doesn't have any sufferings, Doesn't have confusion? Orelse We unable to decode the language of birds so we might take everything in nature as harmony, Perfect, peaceful so on .. These questions raised in me suddenly.

On the Other hand,When we are in phase of agony we might assume that our  surroundings seems perfect, happy than us , I have tried to infer these possible answers for my question but I am not satisfied.

Then I have discussed with my Senior Ms Shobhana Prakash,Who is very kind and  suggested me to read Robert Bridges, "Nightingale" Through this, I learnt that Robert Bridges contrasts human idealisation of nature with the birds’ revelation that their song arises from longing and pain, yet achieves perfect beauty Which is highlighting  art’s power to transform suffering.

What do you think about this ?
